IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO PUBLISHED PROGRAM
For this month only we are changing the date of the open mic night at The Old Hall Tavern to St.George's Day Thursday the 23rd of April and NOT the 16th of April as previously advertised.
We are holding a special fund raising evening for the Help For Heroes charity and to celebrate St.George and his Dragon.
A prize will be awarded to the best costume if anyone wants to enter into the spirit of the night and dress up a bit. Costumes could be Soldier, Sailor, Airman, St George even a Dragon!! (or anything you think appropriate)
THE FORMAT OF THE EVENING WILL ALSO CHANGE.
We are starting the open mic earlier with performance slots from 8pm to 9.45pm
There will be seven or eight 3 song or 10 minute slots plus a break when the usual refreshments will be served.
Then from 10.00pm the host band PettyCa$h will take the stage and play for the rest of the evening till approx 11.30 pm
We are expecting it to be a very good night and your support will be very much appreciated. It should be a lot of fun!
PERFORMERS PLEASE NOTE
Slots will be allocated on a first come- first up basis so please arrive early if you want a slot at this special evening.
Your usual genre of music is fine for the night but if you want to theme your songs with a "English feel", that would certainly add to the fun.
